“Why isn’t there a ‘buy now’ button or something?”
Items on this page are made to order. To purchase an item off this page, you need to send me an email first!
Once we have the details sorted out, I’ll give you a quote for how much your build will cost, but I won’t send you an invoice until I’m ready to start your build. I use PayPal for invoicing (no, you don’t need to have a PayPal account to use PayPal). If you want to make a purchase right now, then take a peek in the upper right side bar, where I have items that are ready to ship are featured, if any.
Above, of course, is a pricing chart for Bullwhips. Length is for the whip itself, not counting the fall and cracker. For instance, if you order an 8 foot whip, the finished whip will be longer than that once you add in the fall and cracker. Yes, I can build whips at lengths in between the ones listed in the chart above, just send me an email and I’ll give you a quote.
Are you looking for something a little smaller? I also make mini bullwhips! The page is right here!
The bullwhip pictured above is actually the very first bullwhip I ever made–in fact, it’s the first whip I made of any sort! Nothing like jumping in at the deep end, I can tell you! It’s constructed out of buffalo calf skin rather than kangaroo hide. I still have it, of course, and it is a sweeeeeeet throw, granted I’m always tempted these days to do the overlay over again in kangaroo leather. My partner’s lip always sticks out like a shovel any time I mention it, though, so I’ll prolly leave it alone…lol!
Now, of course, I plait almost exclusively with kangaroo hide.
