Whip accessories!

Personalized leather case for your extra crackers!

An extremely useful whip accessory, a case for your crackers! Each is made with veg tan tooling leather, hand cut, dyed, and stamped (optional, up to 4 letters), and each includes five (5) 8″ x 2″ bowstring crackers. Wallets are card sized, so you can also tuck your ID and/or credit cards inside for an on-the-go minimalist solution to staying organized when hauling the kitchen sink along with you just isn’t practical. Cracker cases are $25 each plus shipping, and include five spare crackers. If you’d like one personalized, simply send me an email (desert.minx@mojaveoutliers.com), and we’ll get the details sorted for you. (Note: Crackers all by themselves are 5 for $10 plus shipping–so you’re getting a pretty good deal by also getting the cracker case! Unless you already HAVE a cracker case, of course…there is that… 😉 )

The Pocket Paddle, original design by Mojave Outliers. These are double ended: the narrow end are a sturdy pair of slappers, with a wet-formed thumpy shot loaded head (that roundy bit) at the other, for double duty! Hand cut, dyed, etc., from two layers of 7-8 oz veg tan leather, between 9.5″ and 10″ long, so it’ll fit nicely in your pocket or bag.

Each weighs between 4.5 to 5.5 oz (I’m using #9 shot for these, as I was worried smaller shot might work its way out, although that’s highly doubtful). I even tested out a new stamp on one of them, a “scarab” stamp! These are $75 each, plus shipping. Tooled Pocket Paddles (stamped) are $95 each plus shipping.

Next, a rustic, biker style Cracker Wallet!

When you’re out in the field (or on scene) and your whip cracker goes flying off into the back of beyond, or becomes sodden with God-knows-what, or ties itself into an implacable Gordian knot, you won’t have to worry, because you’ve got your cracker kit with you, attractive and convenient! This, as mentioned, is modeled after the popular biker style wallet, and I picked it because it allows for a larger pair of hemostats (and just more room in general), which means a better quality of hemostats–important when you’re fiddling with crackers, especially if there’s a signal whip involved. These are completed first edition prototypes, and I’ve modified the original design slightly to allow an interior pocket for the harness needle/fid. The wallet is large enough that you can carry all your cracker essentials AND your ID, cash, cards, hanky, kitchen sink, etc. The leather is an off-cut pull-up oil tan cowhide on the shell, and the interior is roan veg tan kangaroo leather, one is topped off with a double Dragon concho snap closure, and the other sports a Celtic knot motif. As these ARE first run editions, there are imperfections, so these are being offered up at a price that reflects this. Price is $125 each plus shipping (price is for wallet ONLY).
